Hi, I'm Vivian!
The question “Who are you?” has always made me pause, not because I don’t know, but because I’ve never been just one thing. I love storytelling through writing, creating art like sketches and nail designs, and building things through code. I’m drawn to both imagination and structure, creativity and technology. For a long time, I wasn’t sure how it all connected.
Then came mediocremango, and slowly, the answer started to take shape. So… what is a mediocremango?
mediocremango /ˌmē-dē-ˈō-krə-ˌmaŋ-gō/ (n.)
1. A digital personification of Vivian Park. What began as a video game username coined at age 15 became her go-to persona on nearly every platform—and eventually, a part of her identity.
2. A thematic umbrella for Vivian’s creative pursuits: mangoblog (a space for writing and storytelling), mangonails (a visual diary of experimental nail art), and mangoprojects (a home for code, design, and things she builds).
Origin: A blend of “mediocre” (a playful nod to imperfection) and “mango” (her favorite fruit), brought together with a love for alliteration.
